Little Help?

Queer Sporting Alliance understands the intersectional factors that impact on the LGBTIQA+ community accessing and maintaining regular attendance at games.

This is why the weekly training and monthly social events we provide are free. 

​

As a club we strive to keep fees low and do not seek to profit financially from our players. We are transparent with how and where we spend our money as a club. 

​

We are currently reviewing a process for players impacted by financial hardship to be supported with expenses such as jersey costs, registration and game fees. Given the NFP nature of our club we have a capped budget for this initiative and will review the program quarterly.

Our club understands that financial stress is not an exact science, therefore there is no established quantitative threshold criteria to be eligible.

Your application is kept confidential and will be assessed by the Little Help team (comprised of two QSA board members). In the event of a split decision on your Little Help application, the final determination will be made by the club President.*

In order to apply for a Little Help please complete a contact form below with the subject "ATT: Little Help Team". Please keep your application to under 300 words and explain to the team the specific circumstances that have lead to you needing a Little Help. If you are unable to make a written application please call 0468934827 (between 9am - 4pm) to speak to your club President.
